Client, Project: Extreme Makeover Home Edition, illustrations for a room treatment
Description: After offering to volunteer our services to the EMHE: Augusta, GA build we were contacted by one of the producers in LA to develop illustrations that would cover the room of a 10-year-old boy who loves joking and pranks.
There was an extremely tight deadline, right in the middle of a holiday break (Thanksgiving week) and we had to coordinate meetings, sketch reviews, final art, and print prep with the producers in LA, here in Augusta, and with a mid-west printing company. From our initial meeting to sending the final artwork off to the printer, we had about 5 days.
It was great working with the producers because they came with an idea and some reference material but they listened to our creative ideas and once we got the appropriate approvals they pretty much just let us run with it and have fun!
It was an absolute honor and privilege to volunteer our creative resources to such an important cause. Working with producers who want to make a difference in the lives of deserving families was a blast. EMHE is television done right and Timbuktoons was honored to be part of it!
